Day 1: Hanoi - Ky Son (L.D)

08h30.: our guide and our driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Moon Garden Homestay. Arrive at Moon Garden Homestay in Ky Son village, check in and have a welcome drink of local, fresh green tea. Then, relax or discover around and take part to cooking class then enjoy what you have prepared.

Afternoon, cycle around Moon Garden Homestay to meet the locals and discuss with the host family about local snacks, culture and traditional customs. If you want to learn Vietnamese, one of the family members will teach you some Vietnamese basics words!

Continue to cycle to Tam Son, Van Minh, and Cham farming communities, you can help the local with plowing, making rice beds, transplanting seedlings, harvesting rice and collecting tea or all the medicinal herbs needed for your steam bath and the foot spa in the late evening.

Back to Moon Garden for a traditional, refreshing steam bath with fragrant herbs (lemon grass, pomelo leaves, holy basil leaves) and have dinner at hotel. Then, enjoy your foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt and mugwort medicinal herbs before going to bed.

Day 2: Ky Son – Hanoi (B.L)

Wake up in early morning for the morning exercise and for praying to Buddha or mediate in the form Yijinjing traditional exercises with the help of the host. After breakfast, participate in burning votive money and gold for the dead, which is a traditional ritual here.

Enjoy coffee or tea and made by yourself as at your home, relaxing on the hammock in the garden, taking pictures with Vietnamese traditional clothes, chatting with people, or further discovering Ky Son village and the surrounding area.

After lunch, visit Duong Lam Ancient Village in the Red River Delta, interact with local people and feel the real atmosphere of the region. Visit many preserved houses, some hundreds of years old and the Communal House in Mong Phu hamlet which is dedicated to national heroes. Back to Hanoi and drop you off at your hotel.
