Bac Ha 4 Days Amazing Trekking Tour
DAY 1: LAO CAI/SAPA – BAC HA – NAM KHANH
Distance: 18 km ~ Duration: 6 hrs
Start from Sapa or Lao Cai, you will be transferred by car to Bac Ha. Keep your eyes open to picturesque of this stunning mountainous region on the way.
Arrive Bac Ha after 2 hours, then start your hiking journey through different landscapes where you will get the best view of the countryside and local villages.
You will pass through a small winding & steep path, several minority villages in the region and enjoy a great opportunity to explore and experience the most popular trek in the region, trekking through the middle of rice terraces.
You will be meeting many local people along the trails and reach Nam Khanh Village in the late afternoon.
This is now chance to enjoy the best bits of the region after a few hours steep walk upwards and downwards. The wonderful moments of having dinner with a local family and a real homestay experience at a Dao’s family.
DAY 2: NAM KHANH – BAN LIEN
Distance: ~ 14 km ~ Duration: 4-5 hrs
Enjoy your lovely breakfast, the hike today will lead through the mountains sightseeing.
In 4-5 hours, you will pass green tea hills, corn plantations and palm trees. Crossing local villages for an awesome experience through rural beauty and peaceful of the region.
You will then enjoy a leisure walk to an ethnic village, which located at the mountain side, explore the particular architecture of Tay houses, built on stilts and palm leaves roof.
Get a close insight of culture and traditions in the mountain region for the knowledge and their kindness and hospitality.
Be welcomed for dinner and stay at Tay’s family for a night.
DAY 3: BAN LIEN – NA LO
Distance: 18 km ~ Duration: 6 hrs
After breakfast, start as usual, hike through the rice fields to the best points for the awesome mountain vistas. Enjoy the natural beauties and the scenic views along the trails.
Then, stop by a village of Nung ethnic group, discover of the daily life of the delightful village. Most of the Nung’s people live nearby the water sources, so that they can grow rice in flooded areas.
Visit the village, you will also discover their traditional costumes and lovely culture. That’s all up for the day.
Enjoy your dinner here and spend the night at a Nung’s family.
DAY 4: NA LO – BAC HA – LAO CAI
Distance: 11 km ~ Duration: 3-4 hrs
Having breakfast, then hiking again among the rice terraces, the largest producer of the region for hours.
Take rest for a lunch picnic on the trails, a nice spot under the shade.
After lunch, continue on winding trails that will traverse you into many different beautiful valleys during the way.
14:00, Return to Bac Ha for a drive back to Lao Cai, this ride takes you through beautiful mountains landscape.
On the route, visit beautiful scenery of typical green tea hills alongside and stop by the Sino-Vietnamese border before getting a train back to Hanoi and tour ends.
