Hanoi - Ba Be Lake - Kayak – Hanoi

Day 1: Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Ba Be Lake (L/D)

Morning departure from Hanoi to Ba Be via Thai Nguyen in where visit the Museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen - a beautiful collection of images and items related to the life and daily activities of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. Enjoy lunch before traveling to Ba Be across the green hills of tea plants and beautiful palm fan. Arrive in Ba Be in late afternoon, check-in at the great traditional stilt house. Walk around the village of Pac Ngoi for the discovery of the life and daily activities of the Tay ethnic minority. The village is nestled in a beautiful natural setting: mountains, forests, lakes, rivers and rice fields... Have dinner and overnight at homestay.

Day 2: Ba Be - Cruise - Kayak - Tour (B/L/D)

Breakfast with the locals, then driver will take you to the pier where you start kayaking down from Nang River to Ba Be Lake through the fabulous landscapes: mountains, ethnic villages and crop fields. Visit the Puong cave and Dau Dang - the largest and most beautiful waterfall in the area. Have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to discover the area. The boat takes you to the mouth of the lake where you do kayaking to explore the quietest and most tranquil places. Here, you can swim (if weather permitted). Enjoy dinner together and overnight at homestay.

Day 3: Ba Be - Na Khan - Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the family where we spent a warm night to return to Hanoi via Na Khan. This route takes you through the beautiful scenery and you are away from touristy trail. Lunch is served in Na Khan. Later, walk around Na Khan to explore the daily life and captivating landscapes of the region. Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon. Tour ends.
